Free app for creating Gacha videos
chibimation is a free-to-use multimedia app that lets you create slideshows and stories using the popular anime chibi style, or those with small characters and exaggerated facial features. Dress up your characters and tell your original stories. It has a Studio Mode for shooting videos and a Shop Mode for cosmetics for your characters.
As an app, chibimation combines the basic elements of a video editor like Video Editor Video Maker - InShot plus the aesthetics of Gacha Club. This makes it a perfect companion tool for the latter, as well as its spinoffs, because the resulting videos fit right in.
Tell your own Gacha story
For fans of Gacha games like Gacha Club or Gacha Life, you’ve probably watched online fanmade videos using their aesthetics. With chibimation, you can create your own videos just like that. Using the Studio mode, you can insert your characters, choose your background, add audio, and insert scripts. It also supports animating your chibi avatars, although there are quite a limited selection of actions available.
The second half of the app is the Shop mode, which contains a lot of cosmetics to help you customize your characters. Since it has no games or tasks to accomplish, everything is immediately made available at the start. Feel free to test your costumed avatars against the game’s default library of backgrounds, or upload your own with the PNG export feature.
It’s also worth noting that this app is not a mod, but a standalone app that requires no other game or program to install. Once you’re done, you can simply export your video and upload it or share it with friends. You’ll have to do this manually, though, since the app doesn’t have automatic share buttons included in it. Other than this minor gap, the app works properly.
